Welcome and thanks for stopping by!
I enjoy taking photos of rural life around our home located in south-eastern Ontario, Canada. My subject matter could be anything that catches my eye... wild life and birds, plants, weather, snow and ice, rural scenes or even astronomy. Recently I have been trying my hand at digital art and find I'm quite enjoying it. I will be sharing some of my digital manipulations here as well.
I recently purchased a new camera so after a few years break it's time to start my photo blog back up! I had been using a Fujifilm FinePix 2800 (2.0 mega pixels / 6x Zoom / macro) but I have now upgraded to a Canon PowerShot A650 IS (12.1 mega pixels). On occassion I may post images taken with an Intel Play (now Big Blue) digital microscope (up to 200x), or an old Pentax K1000 SLR (no battery necessary, great for use in the cold w/o flash).
