Contract Developers

Looking to use your PHP, Java, JavaScript, SQL and other web developer skills without the long commute to the office?  DBits Technology Services has clients in a number of countries around the world.  We are expanding our client base and need skilled, disciplined developers to work as sub-contractors via remote access on a variety of development projects.  Projects range from a few hours to several weeks and involve PHP and JavaScript programming for web interfaces to database applications. 

You Will:

Join us as an affiliated contractor in developing applications and tools through remote access.  You will receive designs and specifications provided by customers and develop solutions for a varietiy of platforms and environments.

We need you to have:

• 3 or more years experience developing online applications
• 2 to 3 years experience with object-oriented development
• 2 years or more experience with PHP and JavaScript
• In depth knowledge of SQL
• Experience with MySQL databases
• Experience with Ajax and JQuery

We hope you have:

• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with version control systems, such as GIT or Subversion
• Experience with UML
• Experience with CodeIgniter or other MVC frameworks
• Experience with telework
